Putin wants stricter control over drugs, warns against shortage
MOSCOW, Feb 3 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed with the idea to tighten control over drug sales on Wednesday, but warned against inaccurate regulatory actions that would cause their shortage.
“There must be a direct contact with the Economic Development Ministry, we will try to organize it. We understand where a problem can arise here. By no means we can create deficit but at the same time we must regulate it in a way that tougher licensing would go in line with the growth of our possibilities to make consumer products,” Putin said.
